Yes, this year’s Annual Benefits Enrollment is an active enrollment. This means you must elect all medical, dental, vision and spending account coverage for 2026. Your Basic Life Insurance and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) coverage and any optional benefits elected through Beneplace are the only benefits that will carry over to next year. If you don’t make an election for medical, dental, vision or spending accounts, any coverage will end on Dec. 31, 2025 and you will not have coverage as of Jan. 1, 2026. BSMH provides Life Insurance to all full- and part-time associates and it's important you designate a beneficiary for any life insurance. To add beneficiaries or to make sure your beneficiaries are up to date, please visit Workday. BSMH also provides short-term disability (STD) benefits for part- and full-time associates, and long-term disability (LTD) benefits for full-time associates.
All associates can enroll using Workday! You can enroll during the 2026 Annual Benefits Enrollment period, October 8 – 22. Check your Workday inbox for your Annual Enrollment or Benefit Change task to make your 2026 benefit elections.
If you don’t enroll during the 2026 Annual Benefits Enrollment period, you will not have medical, dental, vision or spending account coverage next year.
For new hires, if you do not elect benefits within the designated timeframe, you will only have Life/AD&D Insurance, as well as short-term disability and long-term disability. If you are a new hire, you may need to complete your new hire elections for the remainder of 2025 and elect 2026 benefit elections. New Hire enrollments completed during the Annual Benefits Enrollment period will not carry over to 2026.
If you’re a full- or part-time associate, you can learn more about the benefits available to you based on your role and location by visiting HR ServiceNow and searching “2026 Benefits.” Remember, you can get to HR ServiceNow anytime using the icon on BSMH Central from your work computer or from home by visiting HRServiceNow.BSMHealth.org.

Rightway offers greater flexibility to get the benefits help you need with extended hours with health guides available:
Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. ET
Saturday – Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET
Holidays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. ET
The HR Service Center can also help you with Workday enrollment questions – you can reach them by submitting a General HR Inquiry or by calling 877-692-7780 weekdays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET to speak to a service advisor. You can also get to the General HR Inquiry form on the HR ServiceNow home page by clicking the Ask HR – Submit a General HR Inquiry tile. Additionally, Faith, the BSMH chatbot, can help connect you to resources in IT Compass and HR ServiceNow – during enrollment and throughout the year.

Nayya, our benefit decision-support tool, can develop a personalized benefits recommendation for you during the enrollment period.

There are a few enrollment options for associates who are on a leave of absence. You can enroll from home by accessing Workday (using the Workday app or your home computer). You also have the option to call the HR Service Center at 877-692-7780, and they can assist you in enrolling for 2026 benefits.
